Hormonal Changes in Women

Earlier in life, a woman's body and her natural rhythms are usually regulated, both by her hormone levels and her menstrual cycle. As she nears menopause, her hormones naturally decline, and the ovaries decrease in function. This disrupts her bodily rhythm and decreases her quality of life. Hormone imbalances can cause weight gain, hot flashes, decreased strength and endurance and hair loss, as well as a loss of energy, mood swings and low sex drive.

Hormonal Changes in Men

Similar to women experiencing menopause, men also go through hormonal changes with age. They may experience a drop in testosterone known as andropause, caused by a significant decrease in testosterone. Testosterone deficiency accounts for many physical and emotional symptoms and can increase the chances of hair loss and diminished libido, as well as prostate, testicular and heart issues.

What Can Bioidentical Hormones Do For Me?

Bioidentical hormones restore your natural rhythm, without the same risks associated with synthetic hormone therapy. We work with men and women to create a rhythmic dosing, attenuated to the ebb and flow of each individual patient, as opposed to the static dosing used with synthetic hormones.
